Key areas of work
Claiming refugee status: I represent clients seeking refugee and protected person status at both levels of the determination process (the Refugee Status Branch and the Immigration and Protection Tribunal).
Immigration cases: Deborah is currently taking instructions on residence appeals, humanitarian appeals against deportation and deportation appeals.
Residence applications - Bringing Family to New Zealand: I have a particular focus on residence applications under the family categories, including the partnership category.
I am a Ministry of Justice legal aid, Lead Provider.
